Servotech Power Systems has announced that it has secured an order for 2,649 electric vehicle (EV) chargers from Bharat Petroleum Corporation.
Servotech Power Systems will be in charge of producing, supplying, and installing the AC EV chargers strategically across the country as part of the BPCL E-drive Project, albeit the precise amount of the order was not made public.
With its 3 kW and 7 kW chargers, the initiative seeks to improve the general adoption of EV charging solutions. The production process has already started, and charger supply is expected to be completed in three months, starting on December 15.
Servotech Power Systems and BPCL had previously worked together to install 800 30 KW DC fast EV chargers, revolutionizing the E-Mobility market. By creating easily accessible EV charging networks, the effort hopes to lessen the transportation sector’s carbon footprint.
The Servotech Power Systems Director, Sarika Bhatia, highlighted the ease of use and eco-friendliness of these chargers for charging electric vehicles. Servotech Power Systems is a tech-enabled EV charging solutions provider and is listed on the NSE.
