BGAUSS has rolled out BGAUSS C12i EX electric scooter at an initial price of Rs 99,999 ex-showroom.
The company is planning to expand its C12 series that included the C12i MAX, attracting 6,000 customers in three months.
The BGAUSS C12i EX offers a quick 3-hour charging time for its battery pack and boasts an ARAI-certified range of 85km.
Equipped with CAN-enabled technology, the scooter ensures connectivity and control. Like its predecessor, the BG C12i EX features a fully waterproof, IP67-rated electric motor and battery that provide protection against extreme heat and dust.
Hemant Kabra, the Founder and CEO of BGAUSS, expressed the company’s commitment to providing high-performance, safe, and intelligent electric scooters to lead India’s EV revolution. He emphasized their dedication to upholding the highest standards in build quality, safety, and performance.
Kabra also conveyed gratitude to customers who trusted their eco-friendly mobility solutions and expressed hope that the newly launched C12i EX would receive a positive response. He noted that the e-scooter would be available at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 until September 19, 2023.
The BGAUSS C12i comes with a removable lithium-ion LFP battery pack that charges in three hours.
It has a claimed ARAI-certified range of 85 km, although the real-world range may be slightly less.
Both the electric motor and the battery pack are IP67-rated, making them waterproof and dustproof. The motor is a 2500-watt unit positioned within the rear wheel.
Customers can book the BGAUSS C12i EX electric scooter on the company’s website, and a 5-year warranty is included. BGAUSS currently operates 125 dealerships across India.
