Bentley Motors has announced what it calls the “biggest design revolution in its history”, unveiling a redesigned brand logo, a state-of-the-art design studio in Crewe, and the all-electric EXP 15 concept car. The move marks a bold step for the luxury automaker as it transitions toward an electrified future.
A Modern Take on the Iconic Winged ‘B’
Bentley’s famous winged “B” emblem has been reimagined with a sharper, angular design inspired by the peregrine falcon in flight. The updated badge now carries a three-dimensional gemstone effect framed in fine metal, with the lower feathers removed for a more contemporary look. The company highlighted that while the logo evolves, the central “B” remains the defining symbol of the brand.
Next-Generation Design Studio in Crewe
As part of its transformation, Bentley inaugurated a new design studio in Crewe, doubling the workspace to house 50 designers under one roof. The facility forms part of Bentley’s “Dream Factory” investment, which also includes a cutting-edge paint shop and an assembly line dedicated to electric vehicles.
“We are currently experiencing the biggest design revolution in Bentley’s history,” said CEO Frank-Steffen Walliser. “Bringing our designers together in one space opens new opportunities to shape Bentley’s future through creativity and collaboration.”
EXP 15: The First All-Electric Bentley Concept
The highlight of the announcement was the unveiling of the EXP 15, Bentley’s first fully electric concept car. Designed as a modern grand tourer, the EXP 15 spans more than five metres and blends the marque’s classic proportions with futuristic technology.
The interior features a three-seat layout with a driver’s seat, a rear bench, and an electrically adjustable swivelling passenger seat. Its unique design includes two rear-hinged doors on the right side and a single door on the left. Inside, Bentley introduces its “Magical Fusion” operating system, which allows the dashboard to shift seamlessly between a digital interface and a traditional handcrafted wooden surface.
A Step Toward an Electric Future
With the EXP 15, Bentley signals its intent to merge heritage craftsmanship with next-generation electric mobility. The launch represents a crucial step in the Volkswagen Group-owned brand’s roadmap toward a fully electric lineup, underscoring Bentley’s ambition to remain a leader in luxury while embracing sustainability.
