With the official addition of Bentley Motors to its esteemed portfolio of automotive brands, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has made a calculated move into the ultra-luxury automobile market in India. With this step, Bentley joins Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Lamborghini, and Porsche as the sixth SAVWIPL brand.

SAVWIPL will be solely responsible for overseeing the import, distribution, and maintenance of Bentley automobiles nationwide as of July 1, 2025. Bentley India, a recently established organisation under the SAVWIPL umbrella that is tasked with directing Bentley’s expansion strategy and retail presence in India, would be in charge of these operations. As Bentley India’s new brand director, Abbey Thomas will oversee the company’s strategy and implementation in the home market.

In order to serve India’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), Bentley India will first open dealerships in three important cities: Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi. Featuring a flawless fusion of British craftsmanship, state-of-the-art technology, and unparalleled performance, the showrooms will include Bentley’s famous models, such as the Flying Spur, Bentayga, and the most recent Bentley Wings.

SAVWIPL’s managing director and CEO, Piyush Arora, expressed delight in the company’s most recent addition:

The addition of Bentley to the SAVWIPL family is a proud milestone that completes our range, which combines the timeless elegance and unrivalled performance of British craftsmanship with the precision of German engineering. India’s desire for unwavering luxury is expanding quickly. Abbey is the perfect leader to guide Bentley India towards new heights because of his in-depth knowledge of the Indian market.

Additionally, Jan Bures, SAVWIPL’s Executive Director for Sales, Marketing, and Digital, stated:

We in India are honoured to have Bentley join the SAVWIPL family. This new partnership will help the continually expanding UHNI market in India, and we and our new dealer partners will make sure that our clients receive the highest level of elegance and performance.

For more than 20 years, Bentley has been a part of India’s luxury car market, always satisfying high-end customers looking for performance and exclusivity. With world-class service standards, the new structure under SAVWIPL seeks to improve the customer experience and increase its market emphasis.

Six well-known brands are managed in India by SAVWIPL, which has its headquarters in Pune. The company offers a wide range of vehicles, from ICE to BEV, and has modern manufacturing facilities in Chakan and Shendra. It is dedicated to advancing mobility in India and has been acknowledged as a top employer.
