A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Flipkart and Bajaj Auto aims to implement electric vehicles in the latter’s last-mile delivery operations.

According to Bajaj Auto Ltd.’s spokeswoman Samardeep Subandh, “Bajaj will provide 1000+ electric cargo vehicles over two years as a part of this partnership.” The revolutionary design and features of the Bajaj Cargo ETEC products, which are gaining market recognition quickly, will deliver best-in-class performance and reliability.”

Senior Vice President Hemant Badri of Flipkart Group, who oversees supply chain, customer experience, and re-commerce, stated: “As India’s first native e-commerce platform, we are aware of the significant influence our business operations can have on the environment and society.
