With a new entry-level model that offers premium features, advanced charging capabilities, and a longer range, Audi is expanding its Q4 e-tron lineup. With a DC fast-charging power of 165 kW, the Q4 40 e-tron and Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron have respective ranges of up to 412 km (256.0 miles) and 423 km (262.8 miles). The new model will be on sale in the middle of February 2025.

      Improved Performance and Range

With a 63 kWh battery (59 kWh net), Audi’s most recent Q4 40 e-tron model offers the best possible combination between performance and efficiency. Under ideal circumstances, quick charging may increase the battery’s range by 150 km (93.2 miles) in just ten minutes, going from 10% to 80% in just twenty-four minutes. With 150 kW (204 PS) delivered by a permanently excited synchronous motor (PSM) on the rear axle, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 km/h (99.4 mph).

      Smarter Charging and Maintenance

The MMI system now offers manual battery preconditioning to enhance charging convenience and guarantee the ideal battery temperature for fast-charging stations. Furthermore, the myAudi app’s predictive maintenance reminder offers up-to-date information on the condition of important car parts like the brake pads and battery. In order to schedule timely servicing appointments, customers can also set automated dealer notifications.

      Modern Infotainment and Connectivity

Without requiring a smartphone, users may directly access a large selection of apps, including as news, podcasts, sports, and entertainment, through the Audi application store in the MMI system. Smooth connectivity is guaranteed with a 25 GB data bundle from Cubic Telecom for a year. With the use of navigation tools and real-time information on station availability and preferred suppliers like IONITY, customers can precisely arrange charging stops.

Superior Features at a Reasonable Cost

Starting prices for the Audi Q4 40 e-tron and Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron are €46,150 and €48,150, respectively. Premium standard amenities including Audi MMI navigation plus, Audi virtual cockpit, an electric luggage compartment lid, and front seat heating are included with both variants. Mid-February 2025 is when orders start.
