Audi and FC Bayern Munich have once again strengthened their 23-year partnership, delivering new company cars to the squad for the 2025/26 season. The handover event, held at the Audi Driving Experience Center, showcased the club’s commitment to innovation, performance, and sustainable mobility while highlighting Audi’s expanding portfolio of all-electric and hybrid vehicles.
Players Choose from Audi’s Electric and Hybrid Lineup
Team captain Manuel Neuer and several teammates opted for the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e quattro, while stars Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, and Michael Olise selected the RS e-tron GT performance, Audi’s flagship all-electric sports car. Rising talent Tom Bischof picked the Q4 Sportback e-tron, and Joshua Kimmich chose the spacious Q7 S line TFSI e quattro, emphasizing versatility for family use.
“The FC Bayern players chose vehicles that perfectly showcase the diversity of our lineup — from the compact Q4 e-tron to the powerful Q8 and the sporty RS e-tron GT performance,” said Marco Schubert, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing, AUDI AG.
Celebrating Long-Standing Partnership and Innovation
Jan-Christian Dreesen, CEO of FC Bayern, highlighted the enduring nature of the collaboration:
“This annual handover is more than a tradition — it’s a celebration of our long-standing partnership. After 23 successful years together, Audi and FC Bayern continue to push each other toward peak performance, on and off the field.”
The event also provided players with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Audi F1 Project, including the hybrid V6 engine assembly workshop, the Mission Control Room, and the dynamic simulator. This gave the players an inside view of the advanced engineering that will drive Audi’s upcoming Formula 1 debut.
Employee Engagement and Fan Interaction
Adding to the excitement, 100 Audi employees who won an internal contest participated in the celebration, meeting players and personally handing over the keys to their new vehicles. The day concluded with high-adrenaline test drives in the RS e-tron GT performance, highlighting the performance and emotional appeal of electric mobility.
“It’s inspiring to see how enthusiastic the players are about our electric flagship,” Schubert added. “It proves that electric mobility is not only sustainable — it’s exciting.”
A Model of Excellence and Electrification
The Audi–FC Bayern partnership continues to be a benchmark for excellence, combining precision engineering, sustainable mobility, and sporting passion. As both brands push the boundaries of innovation, the collaboration demonstrates how electric mobility can integrate seamlessly into professional sports and lifestyle experiences.
