Oben Electric, India’s R&D-driven homegrown electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced a major expansion initiative for Gujarat. The company plans to open 10 new showrooms and service centers across key cities including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and Jamnagar in 2026.
The expansion comes on the back of the remarkable success of the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, the company’s next-generation electric commuter motorcycle that has quickly gained popularity among urban riders seeking performance, reliability, and intelligent features in a sporty design.
At present, Oben Electric operates a showroom and Oben Care service center in Memnagar, Ahmedabad, staffed with platinum-certified technicians. The brand’s expanding retail footprint underscores its commitment to strengthening accessibility and service quality for EV enthusiasts across India.
Speaking during a media session at the Ahmedabad outlet, Sagar Thakkar, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer (CPO), Oben Electric, said:

The Rorr EZ Sigma, priced from ₹1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), is available in 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh variants, delivering a range of up to 175 km and a top speed of 95 km/h. Riders can choose between three modes—Eco, City, and Havoc—depending on their riding style and terrain. The model features Oben’s patented LFP battery, offering 50% higher heat resistance and double the lifecycle compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries.
Equipped with advanced features such as reverse assist mode, a 5-inch TFT display with navigation and smart alerts, and an ergonomic seat design, the Rorr EZ Sigma is positioned as a complete daily commuting solution. Customers can book the motorcycle for ₹2,999, with availability on Amazon and Flipkart, offering additional card-based discounts.
In celebration of the festive season, Oben Electric has launched its Mega Diwali Utsav, offering benefits worth up to ₹35,000. The offer includes a ₹20,000 launch discount (already reflected in pricing), cashback of up to ₹10,000, a gold coin with every purchase, and an opportunity to win an iPhone.
Currently, Oben Electric has more than 50 showrooms across India, spanning major markets such as Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, Jaipur, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Lucknow.
