Ather has released a teaser for the 450 Apex, which will be its most powerful product to date and will sit atop the company’s current portfolio of e-scooters. In a recent social media post, Ather CEO Tarun Mehta stated that the 450 Apex would be “the fastest Ather yet.”

The 450 Apex will most likely use the same 3.7kWh battery as the present 450X. However, the motor is anticipated to be more powerful than the one found in the 450X, which is rated at 6.4kW/26Nm. The Ather 450 Apex could also break the 100kph barrier and have a faster 0-40kph acceleration time than the already zippy Ather 450X.

The 450 Apex could possibly also have transparent side panels, inspired by the Ather 450X Series 1. It is also likely to have different colours to differentiate it from the 450X and 450S.

The 450 Apex will be released in India soon, possibly before the end of the 2023 calendar year or in early 2024. Expect the 450 Apex to be priced around Rs 200,000 (ex-showroom) higher than the 450X (Rs 168,000).
