      Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group and a leading name in India’s commercial vehicle sector, has officially commenced the delivery of 24 AVTR 55T electric trucks to ASAT Logistics Pvt Ltd, the strategic logistics partner for Shree Cement. The first batch of four trucks was handed over in a formal ceremony, marking a significant milestone in Ashok Leyland’s electric mobility journey.

      The keys to the trucks were presented by Sanjeev Kumar, President – MHCV, Ashok Leyland, to Arvind Sarda, CEO of ASAT Logistics Pvt Ltd, in the presence of senior dignitaries, emphasising the collaboration between technology-driven innovation and sustainable logistics.

      “These trucks highlight our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and performance in the commercial vehicle sector. The growing confidence in our electric mobility solutions reinforces our position as a technology leader in the logistics ecosystem,” said Sanjeev Kumar.

      Advanced Electric Truck Features

      The AVTR 55T electric trucks are designed to offer maximum efficiency, reliability, and ease of integration into existing fleets. Key features include:

      • Advanced lithium-ion battery technology for high performance and extended range.

      • Dual-gun fast charging capability to minimise downtime.

      • Compatibility with standard trailers and superstructures for seamless fleet deployment.

      • Automatic transmission, telematics systems, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety and operational efficiency.

      • A premium cabin designed for driver comfort during long hauls.

      “With the technologically advanced AVTR 55T Electric trucks, we move closer to a cleaner and more sustainable logistics network for Shree Cement. We value Ashok Leyland’s innovation and reliability as we work toward an eco-friendly future,” said Arvind Sarda.
