Zuno General Insurance has released the ‘Zuno Driving Quotient’, a unique driving score, accessible through the Zuno app, tailored for today’s mobile-savvy customer.

Zuno DrivingThrough this initiative, the Zuno app will utilise mobile sensor-based telematics to evaluate driving behaviour and assign a driving score.

The Zuno Driving Quotient initiative provides users with an opportunity to assess their driving skills and get an objective score.

The app employs motion detection and monitors factors such as sudden braking, distracted driving, and over-speeding to calculate a comprehensive Driving Score.

This score not only offers valuable insights into one’s driving habits but also encourages safer driving practices. Simply put, the better you drive, the better your score will be and the more you can save on your insurance premium.

The users can take the 15-day driving challenge by downloading the Zuno app and gain valuable insights into their driving skills.

Speaking on the announcement, Shanai Ghosh, MD and CEO, Zuno General Insurance said, “Zuno Driving Quotient, India’s first-of-its-kind driving score, has been conceptualised to incentivise good driving behaviour and empower customers to pay lesser premium based on how well they drive. We want our relationship with customers to extend beyond just protecting, to preventing. With this behaviour-based pricing, we wish to place complete control in the hands of the customer while gamifying the whole experience.”

“Zuno Driving quotient marks an important step in reimagining motor insurance and raising awareness on road safety. Everyone who engages with it will be incentivised to drive better, drive safe, thus making roads safer for people in India, leading to lower accidents and lower fatalities,” she further added.
