Electric motorcycle manufacturer Zero Motorcycles has launched a new direct-to-home delivery program for its X Line off-road motorcycles in the United States. The initiative allows customers to receive certain models unassembled and complete the final setup at home.

Under the program, authorized dealers can sell the Zero XB and Zero XE models in-crate. Once purchased, the motorcycles can be shipped directly to the customer’s residence via freight service. Buyers will then assemble the bikes themselves using official instructions and video guides provided by the manufacturer.

Despite the new delivery method, the company said sales will still be handled through its dealer network, ensuring customers continue to receive support for purchases, service, and warranty coverage. Both models will retain a one-year vehicle warranty and a one-year power pack warranty.

According to Garrett Johnson, Vice President of Sales and Customer Experience for North America, the program is designed to simplify the purchasing process while giving customers faster and more flexible delivery options.

The move also reflects growing demand in the lightweight electric off-road segment, often referred to as the “e-moto” category. By combining direct home delivery with dealer-facilitated sales, Zero aims to offer a hybrid approach that maintains its dealership network while adapting to changing consumer buying habits.
