Youdha Plans 200 Outlets by End of Year, Bets Big on India’s Booming L5 Passenger EV Market

Electric mobility brand Youdha, a fast-emerging player in India’s electric three-wheeler segment, has announced an aggressive retail expansion strategy, aiming to establish over 200 outlets across the country within a year, significantly strengthening its footprint in the fast-growing L5 passenger EV market.

The company’s expansion comes at a time when demand for electric last-mile mobility solutions is accelerating across both metro cities and Tier-II and Tier-III markets. With this move, Youdha is positioning itself to build one of the largest dedicated retail and service networks in the passenger electric three-wheeler category.

Youdha recently marked its entry into the L5 passenger EV segment with the launch of its flagship model, EPOD, designed to cater to urban commuters, fleet operators, and self-employed drivers. The vehicle is powered by an advanced LFP battery, offering strong range, durability, and low maintenance—key factors driving adoption in the segment.

As part of its expansion strategy, the company will roll out dealerships in a phased manner, beginning with North and East India, including key markets such as Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Assam, before expanding into Western and Southern regions. Each outlet will provide end-to-end support, including sales, service, financing, and after-sales assistance.

Ayush Lohia, CEO, Youdha, said, Our vision is to make Youdha one of the most trusted and accessible EV brands in India. Expanding to 200 outlets is not just about scale—it is about ensuring that customers have reliable access to products, service, and support wherever they are. As demand grows, building a strong on-ground ecosystem becomes critical.

The company is also ramping up production capabilities at its manufacturing facility to meet increasing demand, while continuing to invest in product development, innovation, and localisation. With a focus on reliability and performance, Youdha aims to strengthen its position in both B2B fleet operations and individual ownership segments.

Industry trends indicate that India’s electric three-wheeler market is among the fastest-growing EV segments, driven by favourable government policies, rising fuel costs, and increasing awareness around sustainable mobility. Youdha’s expansion aligns with this momentum, enabling deeper market penetration and faster adoption.

Beyond retail expansion, the company is working towards building a comprehensive EV ecosystem, including partnerships for financing, service infrastructure, and customer support, ensuring a seamless ownership experience.

With its dual focus on network expansion and product innovation, Youdha is aiming to play a significant role in shaping India’s electric mobility landscape, particularly in the passenger three-wheeler segment.
