Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, officially launched 50 electric buses from Ayodhyadham Bus Stand as part of a zero-carbon public transportation program ahead of the auspicious event of the Ram Mandir’s dedication in Ayodhyada.
PMI Electro Mobility is the manufacturer of these buses.
Aanchal Jain, CEO, PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd said, “It is indeed a moment of great pride for PMI Electro Mobility to have our eBuses to ply in the holy city of Ayodhya and be a part of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to be a Net-Zero nation by 2070.”
Jain, added, “We look forward to fortify the state’s ambitious goals of electrifying the public transport by delivering additional e-buses in all major cities in the state in times to come.”
PMI Electro Mobility has over 700 eBuses running across Uttar Pradesh which shall reduce the carbon footprint by 11,036 tons and save 1,62,06,750 litres of diesel.
The introduction of eBuses in the city is part of a transformative adopting a green push of zero carbon mobility in the city of Ayodhya.
