Chinese smart electric vehicle manufacturer XPENG has announced a major expansion of its EV charging infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region through a strategic partnership with Charge Plus. This move will significantly enhance charging convenience for XPENG vehicle owners in Southeast Asia.

Under the collaboration, 3,800 public fast-charging piles will be installed across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. This expansion increases XPENG’s global partner charging network to over 2.4 million stations, reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating EV adoption and sustainable mobility in the region.
High-Speed Charging & Exclusive Benefits
The new co-branded XPENG charging stations will offer high-speed charging up to 350kW, with exclusive perks including special discounts and seamless in-car navigation to nearby chargers. XPENG’s vehicles, including the G6, G9, and X9 models, support 800V fast-charging technology, allowing a charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes.
Seamless Charging Experience
XPENG plans to introduce a “drive-in, charge & go” model by the end of 2025, enabling users to pay for charging directly through the XPENG mobile app, simplifying the EV ownership experience and encouraging intercity travel using electric vehicles.
