In a recent interaction with Sanjana Negi, Bikash Madan, CEO at WTiCabs, shed light on the company’s robust growth trajectory and strategic focus on structured enterprise mobility across India and beyond. Over the past year, WTiCabs has scaled its operations while deepening its footprint in corporate mobility corridors, airport services, and project commute solutions across metro and emerging cities. With a fleet of over 14,000 vehicles supported by 10,000 service partners, the company manages approximately 70,000 trips daily translating to more than 2 million trips per month.
Madan highlighted that WTiCabs now serves over 750 corporate clients, up from 500 in just two years, reflecting strong consolidation in enterprise mobility driven by SLA-based, compliant transport models. Corporate and structured employee transport remain the most profitable segments, underpinned by recurring contracts and optimized fleet utilization.
On the technology front, WTiCabs operates an in-house mobility platform covering rostering, routing, CRM, dispatch, tracking, and reporting. AI integration enhances route optimization, predictive maintenance, smart pooling, and ETA accuracy, improving efficiency while reducing operational costs and fuel consumption.
With new strategic expansions in airports, BFSI, and premium enterprise mobility contracts, WTiCabs is positioning itself as a leading structured mobility partner for corporates seeking reliable, scalable, and tech-enabled transport solutions.
Over the last 12 months, how has WTi Cabs scaled in terms of fleet size, daily rides, and geographic footprint across India?
Over the past year, WTi has continued to strengthen its structured mobility footprint across India while also expanding internationally. Following its public listing on NSE Emerge in February 2024 and expansion into Dubai and UK registration, the company has focused on deepening enterprise mobility deployments rather than only widening geography.
Domestically, the emphasis has been on strengthening corporate mobility corridors, airport services, and project commute solutions across metro and emerging cities.
What is the current size of your operational fleet, and on average, how many trips does WTi manage per day or per month?
WTi currently operates a 14,000+ fleet network, supported by 10,000+ service partners. At a conservative estimate of five trips per cab per day:
~70,000 trips per day
~2.1 million trips per month
This reflects steady enterprise-led demand across employee mobility, corporate rentals, airport transfers, and project commute solutions.
How many corporate clients does WTi currently serve, and what kind of growth trajectory have you seen in enterprise mobility over the past year?
Notably, the company has grown from 500 clients to 750+ in the last two years, reflecting strong consolidation in enterprise mobility. As companies shift toward SLA-based, compliant transport models, structured mobility partners are seeing accelerated demand.
From a revenue standpoint, how did FY25 perform, and what growth are you targeting for FY26? Which business segment is currently driving profitability the most?
Since inception in 2009, WTi has grown revenue from ₹32 Cr to ₹800+ Cr, demonstrating sustained scaling over 15+ years.
FY25 continued this upward trajectory, supported by enterprise mobility contracts and operational optimisation. For FY26, the focus remains on disciplined growth, EV transition and improved fleet utilisation.
Corporate mobility and structured employee transport remain the strongest profitability drivers due to recurring contract-based revenue.
Can you share the contribution split between corporate mobility, airport transfers, and intercity services, and how these segments are evolving?
No, I can’t share the split.
What are your key operational performance metrics such as ride utilisation, fleet occupancy, and total kilometres covered monthly across operations?
Ride utilization -81.6%
Fleet occupancy – 1.91
Total Monthly k.m covered- 1.23 cr k.m i.e 3 times of earth’s circumference
CSI – 4.83 out of 5
Have there been any recent strategic partnerships or large enterprise mobility contracts with airports, hotels, corporates, or event organisers that have strengthened WTi’s premium positioning?
Yes, we have recently strengthened our footprint in the BFSI sector on a Pan-India basis.
Additionally, we have expanded our airport presence with the launch of a new counter at Navi Mumbai Airport, further enhancing our premium positioning and on-ground accessibility for corporate and business travelers.
On the technology front, what systems power fleet tracking, routing, and customer experience, and how is AI or automation improving dispatch efficiency, driver monitoring, or cost optimization?
We operate on our own in-house developed technology platform that supports the entire mobility ecosystem. The solution covers both Car Rental and Employee Transportation verticals, enabling seamless end-to-end operations.
Our platform includes essential modules such as online rostering, routing, CRM, booking, dispatch, tracking, reports, dashboards and billing, providing complete operational visibility and control.
For route planning and movement management, we utilize Google Maps features for accurate ETA calculation and real-time route tracking, ensuring reliability and efficiency across services.
AI tools are being leveraged to provide accurate ETAs for employees by factoring in current weather conditions.
Route efficiency is continuously enhanced by reducing operational costs and optimizing pickup and drop-off routes, which in turn lowers fuel consumption and minimizes overall travel time. AI is also applied to generate routes based on real-time traffic conditions.
Work is underway on AI-driven predictive maintenance, analysing vehicle data to anticipate potential engine failures and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
A key application of AI lies in smart pooling and ride sharing, where employees with similar routes are intelligently matched, helping reduce the number of vehicles required and improving overall fleet utilization.
