An agreement has been reached between Warivo Motor India Pvt. Ltd., a well-known producer of electric two-wheelers, and Battery Smart, the biggest battery exchange network in India, for electric two- and three-wheelers. Through this agreement, Warivo’s fleet will be equipped with cutting-edge battery swapping technology, with a focus on the business-to-business (B2B) market.
By separating the battery from the vehicle purchase, Warivo intends to lower upfront costs for fleet operators after the release of the CRX, its first high-speed electric scooter. This creative approach helps businesses switch to more environmentally friendly modes of transportation while also increasing the accessibility of electric scooters. By enabling fleet owners to quickly swap out drained batteries for fully charged ones, the integration of Battery Smart’s vast network of swapping stations would reduce range anxiety, guarantee uninterrupted service, and improve delivery and logistics efficiency.
Warivo plans to roll out over 20,000 electric scooters utilizing Battery Smart’s battery-swapping technology throughout India by the end of 2025. Warivo’s dedication to advancing clean mobility solutions and satisfying the rising demand for environmentally friendly transportation options is demonstrated by this momentous deployment.
