Wallbox, a global leader in EV charging solutions, has partnered with Codale Electric Supply, part of Sonepar USA, to significantly expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the Mountain West region, including Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. This strategic collaboration aims to accelerate EV adoption by deploying advanced charging solutions for both public and commercial applications.

      Expanding EV Charging Infrastructure

Under this partnership, Codale will prioritise deployment of Wallbox Supernova DC fast chargers and the Pulsar family of AC chargers, catering to a wide range of charging needs. The initiative will include new installations as well as the replacement of legacy charging systems, enhancing accessibility for residential, commercial, and public EV users.

Driving EV Adoption in the Mountain West

The Mountain West region has witnessed a growing demand for EV infrastructure, with rising vehicle electrification and EV corridor initiatives. By combining Wallbox’s cutting-edge charging technology with Codale’s extensive regional network, the collaboration ensures future-proof, scalable solutions to meet this surge in EV demand.

      Strategic Focus on Smart Deployment

According to Ignasi Alastuey, Chief Business Officer at Wallbox, the partnership emphasises “real deployment, not just distribution”, ensuring the chargers are efficiently integrated across commercial and public locations. Bryce Ebel, EVSE Business Development Manager at Codale, added that the goal is to deliver complete, intelligent charging solutions rather than just hardware.

      Early Projects and Impact

Early deployments of Wallbox Supernova units are already underway across commercial property portfolios and Charge Point Operators (CPOs) in the region. These installations promise to enhance charging availability and reliability, supporting the growing EV ecosystem in the Mountain West while helping the United States advance toward a sustainable, low-emission transportation future.
