Volvo Car India has crossed a significant mark in India’s electric vehicles campaign by delivering over 1,000 electric cars. Their adventure started in late 2022 with the XC40 Recharge—the first domestically produced premium electric SUV in India.
They currently have three EV models, which they distribute directly by their websites. To mark this milestone and their commitment to electric vehicles, they declared the plan to have a new electric car each year until their whole collection is electric by 2030.
Its focus on the electric vehicles segment seems to have paid off, as electric models now represent a significant portion of the volume.
