A major step towards sustainable electrification has been taken with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jendamark India Pvt Ltd, a global leader in advanced manufacturing and automation systems, and Volektra Inc., a leader in magnet-free electric motor technology. As the primary partner for the industrialisation of Volektra’s proprietary Virtual Magnet Motor (VMM) technology, Jendamark will concentrate on developing manufacturing lines that will propel the widespread use of Volektra’s rare-earth-free motors. These motors offer a more environmentally friendly option than conventional technologies because they are made especially for micro-mobility and electric vehicle (EV) applications.

“Our magnet-free motor technology eliminates reliance on rare earth materials, addressing a critical barrier to sustainable electrification,” said Manish Seth, founder and CEO of Volektra. We’re dedicated to putting our breakthroughs into practice, not merely conducting studies. For us to effectively bring our innovative ideas to market, collaborations like this one are essential.

He also underlined, “We are confident that we can move quickly from concept to production, offering customers world-class, sustainable drivetrain solutions, with Jendamark as our preferred partner for assembly and automation.”

“Volektra’s technology is a breakthrough in eliminating the need for rare earth materials in electric motors,” said Himanshu Jadhav, CEO and Director of Jendamark India. We are thrilled about this collaboration since it will provide end customers with sustainable solutions through both innovative goods and scalable production procedures.

With its unique Virtual Magnet Motor (VMM) platform, Volektra, a California company based in El Dorado Hills, is transforming electric motor technology. This software-defined, magnet-free concept is revolutionary for the electric vehicle and micro-mobility sectors because it provides exceptional torque and efficiency without relying on rare earth elements.

With its headquarters in South Africa and operations in India, Jendamark is a world leader in digital manufacturing, robotics, and turnkey assembly solutions. With an emphasis on the automotive and electric vehicle industries, the company specialises in developing high-precision production lines that realise engineering advancements.
