VinFast Auto has declared that it will be returning to ICE BSD City for the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, the leading automotive show in Southeast Asia. VinFast will introduce a brand-new right-hand-drive electric car designed especially for the Indonesian market, marking a significant turning point in its history there.

With this debut, VinFast will have five more all-electric cars in Indonesia, including the VF 3 (small SUV), VF 5 (A-segment), VF 6 (B-segment), and VF e34 (C-segment). The company’s standing as a major participant in the country’s sustainable mobility scene is expected to be strengthened by the new model.

VinFast Arena to Display Whole Electric Spectrum

The spectacular 2,290 m² “VinFast Arena” display venue at GIIAS 2025 will provide both indoor and outdoor experiences. VinFast’s flagship double-decker booth (1,030 m²) will be located in Hall 2E, where guests can examine its whole lineup of EVs, smart charging options, and cutting-edge technologies.

Hall 11 will host two outdoor experience zones:

      • The VinFast Cube, spotlighting a specially customized EV concept
      • The VinFast Arena Outdoor, offering hands-on test drives of VinFast’s complete EV lineup, including the newly unveiled model

      Boosting Indonesia’s Growth

VinFast Indonesia CEO Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto stated, “This return to GIIAS marks a pivotal moment as we launch a new model specifically for Indonesia.” “We have established a solid foundation in the nation in just a year, and we are still dedicated to providing top-notch EVs and a full customer ecosystem.”

Since its debut at GIIAS 2024, VinFast has rapidly established a presence in Indonesia with:

      • 24 showrooms in key cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Bali
      • A goal of 500 authorized service workshops in partnership with Otoklix and BOS
      • Attractive ownership benefits including free charging via V-GREEN, guaranteed buy-back up to 90%, and 0% interest financing

Putting money into regional EV infrastructure

VinFast is firmly committed to creating a green mobility ecosystem in Indonesia, as evidenced by its EV assembly plant in Subang and alliances with V-GREEN and electric taxi operator GSM. VinFast is addressing the nation’s sustainable transportation demands and fostering the growth of the local sector through these projects.
