Prior to their public debut next month, VinFast Auto India, the Indian division of the world’s leading EV company, has formally begun accepting reservations for its high-end electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7. The brand made a successful debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year, and this announcement comes after that.

With a completely refundable booking fee of ₹21,000, Indian customers may now reserve their VinFast SUV at dealerships or online at VinFastAuto.in. Following the opening of VinFast’s cutting-edge manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, deliveries are expected to start.

Developed in India with the Support of Global Technology

The VF 6 and VF 7 are built to international performance, comfort, and safety standards while satisfying the needs of Indian roads. The locally built cars have a strong range and contemporary connectivity, making them suitable for long trips, daily commuting, and intercity travel.

      • VF 7: A premium mid-size SUV featuring Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, a large touchscreen, and connected car features.
      • VF 6: A family-friendly compact SUV blending style with smart utility, including Level 2 ADAS, intuitive infotainment, connected features, and a panoramic roof.

The positive reaction at the Bharat Transportation Expo confirmed India’s preparedness for electric transportation, said Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia. Our goal with the VF 6 and VF 7 is to provide Indian consumers with EVs that are both locally relevant and globally competitive.

Dealership and Charging Ecosystem Across the Nation

In order to open 32 showrooms in 27 locations—including burgeoning EV markets like Bhubaneswar, Surat, and Trivandrum—VinFast has inked agreements with 13 dealer partners. These cities include major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. The 3S model—Sales, Service, and Spares—will govern this network’s operations, guaranteeing thorough client assistance.

VinFast has teamed up with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to support its EV launch by constructing a strong infrastructure for charging and after-sales support. These partnerships will provide integrated support platforms, AI-powered diagnostics, and real-time charging access for hassle-free EV ownership.

Promoting Sustainability in a Circular Economy

In an effort to further its long-term sustainability objectives, VinFast has partnered with BatX Energies of India to create a circular battery value chain. This enhances VinFast’s standing as an ethical EV pioneer by encompassing battery recycling, rare metal recovery, and end-of-life repurposing.

      Thoothukudi Plant to Support Development

3,500 direct employment would be created by the new ₹500 crore factory in Thoothukudi, which will have an annual production capacity of 150,000 automobiles. Once it is up and running, it will be essential to achieving both export and domestic demand targets.

VinFast underlines its commitment to becoming a major participant in India’s quickly expanding EV ecosystem while providing sustainable mobility solutions that are suited for Indian consumers with this strategic launch.
