Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has announced an extension of its complimentary charging program for customers in India, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The initiative will now remain in place until March 31, 2029, supporting VinFast’s push to increase electric vehicle adoption in these markets.
The extended program applies to all VinFast EV owners in the three countries, allowing them to charge their vehicles at V-Green-operated charging infrastructure at no cost. The benefit covers both new buyers and existing owners.
The scheme also includes users operating vehicles for mobility services, such as drivers on the Green SM ride-hailing network. By eliminating charging costs for a prolonged period, VinFast aims to make EV ownership more attractive and reduce dependence on conventional fuel-powered vehicles.
This extension reinforces VinFast’s strategy of promoting EV adoption through financial incentives and accessible charging infrastructure across Southeast Asia and India.
