The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the apex industry body for the Indian auto component sector, has announced the appointment of Mr. Vikrampati Singhania, Managing Director of JK Fenner (India) Ltd., as its President for the 2025–26 term. The Association also named Mr Sriram Viji, Managing Director of Brakes India Pvt. Ltd., as President Designate.

Welcoming the new leadership, Mr Vinnie Mehta, Director General of ACMA, said the appointments come at a crucial juncture for the industry, which is navigating challenges such as global geopolitical uncertainties, supply chain realignments, and the accelerating shift towards electrification. “Their proven leadership will be invaluable in strengthening India’s global competitiveness, securing critical raw materials, and fostering R&D and innovation,” he added.

Expressing his vision for the sector, Mr Singhania said it was an honour to lead ACMA at a time when India is cementing its position as a trusted global mobility partner. He highlighted the industry’s priorities, including boosting localisation, investing in advanced technologies, and embedding sustainability at the core of business operations. “With the government’s continued support and the industry’s commitment, we will work towards making India self-reliant and a global leader in next-generation mobility components,” he said.
