Hero MotoCorp’s mobility brand VIDA has teamed up with Procam International as the 20th Tata Mumbai Marathon’s “Electric Two-Wheeler Partner.”
Following VIDA’s successful partnerships with Procam’s running events in Bengaluru and Delhi, the Tata Mumbai Marathon is the next event in the cooperation series.
According to the press release, VIDA will design an immersive trip for the participants that will include a variety of touchpoints and activations, ranging from pre-race celebrations to post-run festivities.
The Tata Mumbai Marathon’s official electric scooter will be the VIDA V1. Throughout the event, it will be used for all official needs, further solidifying its support for the race and its promotion of environmentally friendly transportation.
Since its inception, Tata Mumbai Marathon’s journey has been transformational – from starting a health and fitness revolution that spawned over 1700 races in the country to creating a springboard for Indian long- and middle-distance runners with representation at the Olympics. Procam distance running events have also opened a new paradigm for sports sponsorships and created an eco-system around the sport estimated at USD 400 million.
More than 1000 NGOs working for multiple causes have cumulatively raised over Rs 429.60 crore using these events as fundraising platforms, making them India’s largest sporting platforms for philanthropy.
