      VIDA—powered by Hero MotoCorp—has unveiled a comprehensive suite of value-added services aimed at enhancing every stage of electric vehicle ownership. Designed to simplify the transition to electric mobility, these offerings strengthen customer confidence with extended warranties, assured resale value, connected features, flexible financing, and nationwide support services.

      The initiative, launched ahead of the festive season, underscores VIDA’s mission to democratise electric mobility by making it more dependable, accessible, and affordable. By addressing key ownership drivers such as battery performance, resale assurance, and charging convenience, VIDA ensures customers experience a seamless journey into sustainable mobility.

      Key highlights of VIDA’s new value-added services include:

      • Comprehensive Extended Warranty: Coverage of up to 5 years / 75,000 km, protecting 11+ critical components.

      • Extended Battery Warranty: Dedicated protection for up to 5 years / 60,000 km, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.

      • Assured Buyback: Customers can return their VIDA scooter after 3 years and receive up to 67.5% of the original ex-showroom price, securing future value.

      • VIDA Edge Subscription: Unlimited fast charging access across India’s largest EV charging network of 3,600+ stations, along with 40+ connected features like ride analytics, OTA updates, and battery health monitoring.

      • 24/7 Roadside Assistance: Nationwide on-road support covering emergencies such as flat tyres, discharged batteries, mechanical faults, and towing requirements.

      Expanding the ecosystem further, VIDA has also introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription. This flexible pay-as-you-go model allows customers to finance the scooter chassis and battery separately, breaking down high upfront costs into affordable monthly payments. The company said this disruptive model redefines EV accessibility and enhances the overall ownership experience.

      Commenting on the launch, Ms Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer, Emerging Mobility Business Unit, said,

      “At VIDA, our mission is to democratise electric mobility by making it truly accessible and affordable. With value-added services such as extended battery warranty, assured buyback, and comprehensive roadside assistance, we are removing barriers and simplifying the transition to sustainable mobility. This festive season, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering customers with solutions that make EV ownership effortless and dependable.”

      These services will be available through VIDA’s dealership network as well as digital platforms, ensuring integrated access to the brand’s growing EV ecosystem.

      VIDA’s latest introduction follows the successful launch of the VIDA Evooter VX2—‘Badalte India ka Scooter’, which has received a strong market response. Built with proven reliability and supported by the BaaS model, the VX2 reflects VIDA’s focus on combining advanced electric innovation with customer-centric ownership solutions.

      By offering this holistic ecosystem, VIDA aims to redefine EV ownership in India, instilling confidence in customers and accelerating the adoption of clean, future-ready mobility solutions.
