Mr Padmanabh Sinha has been appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Varroc, a prominent domestic tier-1 global automotive supplier, with effect from July 18, 2025. With Mr Sinha’s return to the Varroc Board, the company’s emphasis on strong governance, strategic vision, and generating long-term value for stakeholders is furthered.

Mr Padmanabh Sinha has more than 25 years of experience in the Indian investment ecosystem, including technological entrepreneurship and private equity. With extensive experience in capital allocation, investment stewardship, and wealth creation across cycles, he has held leadership positions in prestigious local and international investment institutions throughout his career. It is anticipated that his domain knowledge and strategic savvy will greatly improve Varroc’s governance and growth structure.

Mr Sinha has an MBA from IIM Calcutta, a bachelor’s degree in computer science (Hons) from BITS Pilani, and a Harvard Business School Executive Development Program in Private Equity.

“We are thrilled to welcome Padmanabh Sinha back to our Board,” stated Mr Tarang Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, Varroc, in response to the appointment. “Varroc will benefit greatly from his wide-ranging experience and strategic viewpoint as we quicken our process of change and expansion.”

“Joining the Board of Varroc is an honour,” Mr Padmanabh Sinha said upon his appointment. “I’m excited to support Varroc’s path towards innovation, long-term expansion, and worldwide competitiveness.”

At LaunchBay Capital, a newly founded growth-stage private equity platform that focuses on mid-market companies with headquarters in India that operate in the consumer, healthcare, industrial, financial services, and technology sectors, Mr Sinha is the managing partner and co-founder. In order to accelerate high-quality growth through disciplined capital deployment and scaling with the appropriate people, processes, and culture, the company seeks to collaborate with entrepreneurial leadership teams.

Mr Sinha previously served in top roles at Temasek, Tata Opportunities Fund, and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) before joining LaunchBay Capital. Having spearheaded projects in the areas of fundraising, deployment, portfolio management, and exit strategies, he offers a comprehensive investing viewpoint. His approach to work is based on assisting top-notch companies and leadership groups dedicated to creating lasting, responsible value.
