Sieger Technologies and Urja Mobility have partnered to install 2,500 cutting-edge batteries for electric two- and three-wheelers. With the support of Urja Mobility’s ₹10 crore investment, the project seeks to remove the financial obstacles related to battery ownership and hasten the shift to environmentally friendly transportation.

The partnership’s main goal is to launch a battery leasing program that gives companies an affordable substitute for buying batteries directly. It is anticipated that this strategy will increase access to commercial electric vehicles, especially for fleet managers.

advanced functions of the batteries, which are supplied by Sieger Technologies, will include heat control, enhanced energy efficiency through sophisticated chemistry cells, and a smart Battery Management System (BMS) with Internet of Things connectivity. Designed to enhance overall vehicle performance and longevity, these batteries are compatible with a variety of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

The agreement was welcomed by Guru Prasanth, a founding partner of Sieger Technologies, who pointed out that it blends cutting-edge battery technology with a creative leasing strategy. He underlined that the goal of this partnership is to completely transform the EV experience for both consumers and companies.

Businesses can access Lithium-Ion batteries in a variety of configurations through Urja Mobility’s leasing strategy. Battery combinations for two-wheelers range from 51.2V-20Ah to 40Ah, while possibilities for three-wheelers include 51.2V-100Ah and 200Ah batteries. Every battery has fast-charging characteristics that enable complete charges in two to four hours.
