Royal Enfield has officially entered the electric two-wheeler market with its first EV motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, marking a major milestone for the iconic brand.

The move has drawn a positive response from the industry, including Ultraviolette Automotive CEO and Co-founder Narayan Subramaniam, who congratulated Royal Enfield on its entry into the EV space. In a social media post, he described the launch as a “serious step into electric motorcycles and praised the intent behind the product.

Subramaniam also shared a video featuring the Flying Flea C6 alongside Ultraviolette’s X47 Crossover, highlighting friendly competition between the two brands. The clip included a lighthearted drag race, symbolizing the growing rivalry in India’s electric motorcycle segment.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Specifications

The Flying Flea C6 comes equipped with a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a 15.4 kW electric motor. It produces 60 Nm of torque and offers a top speed of 115 kmph. The motorcycle is expected to deliver a real-world city range of around 110 km.

      Price and availability

The electric motorcycle is priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). A Battery-as-a-Service option reduces the entry price to ₹1.97 lakh. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin by the end of May 2026. The first dedicated showroom has been launched in Bengaluru.
