TVS Motor Company reported a 13% rise in sales from 345,848 units sold in August 2023 to a total of 391,588 units sold in August 2024.
Two-Wheeler
In August 2024, sales of two-wheelers increased significantly by 14%, from 332,110 units in August 2023 to 378,841 units in August 2024. This category’s domestic sales increased by 13% as well, going from 256,619 pieces sold in 2017 to 289,073 units this year.
- Motorcycles: From 153,047 units in August 2023 to 170,486 units in August 2024, sales increased by 11%.
- Scooters: Since August 2023, sales of this segment have increased by 15%, going from 142,502 units to 163,629 units.
Electric Vehicles (EVs)
From 23,887 in August 2023 to 24,779 in August 2024, EV sales increased at a more gradual rate of 4%.
International Business
TVS Motor Company’s exports rose by 14% from 87,515 units in August 2023 to 99,976 units in August 2024, indicating strong performance in this area as well. In particular, exports of two-wheelers increased by 19%, from 75,491 units in August 2023 to 89,768 units in August 2024.
