At an agreement signing event held at W Motors’ factory in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Triton EV and W Motors formally declared their strategic cooperation. Through this alliance, W Motors and Triton EV will be able to work together to advance their common goal of providing cutting-edge automotive solutions to the public and private sectors. The expansion of the Middle Eastern, Indian, and US markets will be the main goals of the cooperative efforts.

With its headquarters located in the United States, Triton EV has focused on hydrogen-powered vehicles and engines, and is currently manufacturing these at its facilities in India. The company has developed a range of electric commercial vehicles using proprietary battery technology and platform design to meet the growing ESG demands globally.

W Motors, an automotive design, engineering, and manufacturing company with its headquarters in Dubai that specializes in electric commercial vehicles, security and defense vehicles, and hypercars, will collaborate with Triton EV on several important mobility initiatives.

Under the W Motors GHIATH Program, both partners will collaborate to create a specially designed armored security vehicle for government usage that will make use of the hydrogen engine from Triton EV. The hybrid engine, which was created internally by the Triton EV team, runs the car primarily on hydrogen and has a backup gasoline system to increase engine efficiency and range.

After it is created, the GHIATH security vehicle will be produced in the factories that each of the partners owns in Dubai and India. W Motors will improve the design, engineering, and functionality of the GHIATH vehicle it currently produces for the Dubai Police, and Triton EV will aid in the creation of cutting-edge security gear and technology that will satisfy the requirements of top government officials.

Himanshu Patel, Founder and CEO of Triton EV, commented, “This partnership marks a significant milestone in the green energy and automotive landscape, leveraging extensive expertise of W motors and TEV in design and engineering. We are excited about the prospects of incorporating Triton EV’s hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE) technology into W Motors’ vehicles. With Triton EV’s current lineup of 10-ton trucks already operating in Dubai, we envision great synergies, particularly in offering sustainable and high-performance vehicles.
