In an effort to take advantage of what is probably going to be its final successful quarter in its strongest market, Tesla has introduced a lengthy list of additional incentives and discounts for its electric cars in the US.
We have been covering Tesla’s dropping sales in its biggest areas, including China and Europe, since the start of the year, with the US being the lone exception.
The US is also anticipated to become a difficult market for Tesla and electric vehicles in general, as the federal tax credit for electric vehicles is scheduled to expire by the end of the quarter.
Since the tax credit is about to expire, several electric car manufacturers are attempting to capitalise on the demand that has been pushed forward into Q3.
A number of new incentives that can be combined have been announced by Tesla. This is the complete list:
