Price
Variants | Price (ex-showroom) |
Model Y Rear-wheel drive | Rs 59.89 lakh |
Model Y Long Range Rear-wheel drive | Rs 67.89 lakh |
The Tesla Model Y’s conventional rear-wheel-drive model costs Rs 59.89 lakh, while the long-range model costs an additional Rs 8 lakh. It should be mentioned that the Model Y’s fully autonomous version costs Rs 6 lakh more than this pricing.
The Tesla Model Y features a blanked-off face and a simple front. It has a sleek, contemporary appearance thanks to its LED DRLs that are connected by a light bar and headlights that are housed in a separate housing underneath. Subtle lines and air dams sculpt the front bumper.
The Model Y’s side profile resembles a crossover, with a softly sloping roofline that blends into the tailboard. It has a minimalist appearance thanks to the flush door knobs. 19-inch all-black alloy wheels support it. The standard colour is Stealth Grey, but depending on the shade you choose, additional choices like Pearl White Multi-Coat, Diamond Black, Glacier Blue, Quick Silver, and Ultra Red can cost up to Rs 1.85 lakh.
The Model Y has a sleek tailboard design and connected LED taillighting at the back. The tailgate’s upper lip functions as an integrated spoiler. The lower part of the bumper is blacked out, and it is simple.
The Tesla Model Y’s interior has an all-black cabin concept and is extremely simple and minimalistic. For an additional Rs 95,000, it may also be purchased with a dual-tone black and white cabin decor. With a single horizontal line of ambient lighting spanning its width and a soft-touch finish, the dashboard is straightforward and flat. The enormous 15.4-inch touchscreen in the centre controls everything; there are no physical buttons or dials. It has mounted controls and a three-spoke steering wheel.
With covered storage spaces and a wireless charging pad, the centre console is roomy and well-designed. Additionally, the rear seats may be reclined, and the rear passengers can utilise the rear air conditioning vents and a separate 8-inch touchscreen for entertainment.
A spacious 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, heated and ventilated front seats, and even power-reclining seats in the second row for extra comfort are just a few of the many features that the Tesla Model Y offers. Along with a 9-speaker music system, ambient lighting, an air purifier, a wireless phone charger, connected car technology, and even a motorised hood for hands-free access to the frunk, the cabin also has an 8-inch screen for the rear passengers.
It has several airbags, a 360-degree camera, and an integrated dashcam for safety. Although it would cost an extra Rs 6 lakh, you can also choose to use Tesla’s whole ADAS suite.
Tesla hasn’t specified the battery pack size and the electric motor output details of the Model Y in a typical fashion. The other detailed specifications of the Tesla Model Y are given below:
