Japanese electric vehicle manufacturer Terra Motors has officially entered Punjab with the grand opening of its flagship high-speed L5 electric auto showroom in Amritsar, in collaboration with one of the city’s top 3-wheeler dealer partners, AP Motor & Finance. The new Amritsar dealership will offer a complete sales and service experience where customers can explore, test ride, and purchase Terra’s latest high-speed e-auto model. With Punjab’s rising demand for electric mobility, the state represents a key market for Terra Motors.

Strong faith in the Terra brand and its dealer network was demonstrated by the very positive response to the inauguration ceremony. Terra Motors, a well-known e-rickshaw maker in India, is currently growing quickly in the L5 e-auto market. The Japanese brand has been in the EV 3-wheeler market for more than ten years, and drivers have come to trust it for dependable performance and good value. Due to competitive dealer margins, rising demand for EV financing, and Terra’s established reputation in the 3-wheeler market, the dealer partner chose the brand.

Speaking at the event, Mr Go Suzuki, Managing Director of Terra Motors India, said, “Punjab is a key market for us, and partnering with a trusted dealer here will help bring top-quality electric autos to local customers. Our goal is to be present in all major cities with Terra e-autos, and we’re inviting experienced EV dealers to partner with us.”

Terra Motors’ flagship Kyoro+ model offers a segment-leading range of up to 200 km on a single charge, robust build quality, a comprehensive 5-year warranty, and an attractive starting on-road price of ₹3.66 lakh. With the added advantage of Terra Finance’s low down payment scheme, the Kyoro+ is positioned as one of the most compelling choices for drivers seeking higher earnings with lower running costs.

This Amritsar opening marks another key milestone in Terra Motors’ nationwide expansion, following recent dealership launches in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The company aims to grow tenfold in the coming years, driven by strong dealer partnerships and customer-focused initiatives.
