Tata.ev has launched the all-new Sierra.ev, reviving one of India’s most iconic SUV nameplates as a premium electric SUV. The new Sierra.ev combines a claimed 510–530 km C75 real-world driving range, dual-motor all-wheel-drive capability, advanced digital technologies, and a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty. Introductory prices start at ₹18.79 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings now open and deliveries scheduled to begin on July 15, 2026.

The Sierra.ev is built on Tata.ev’s advanced Pure EV architecture and is positioned as a premium lifestyle SUV offering performance, comfort, and intelligent technology. The company says the launch comes as India’s electric vehicle market enters a new phase of mainstream adoption, driven by improving charging infrastructure and growing consumer confidence.

      Real-World Performance and Fast Charging

The Sierra.ev offers an ARAI-certified range of 665 km (MIDC) and a real-world range of 510–530 km (C75 cycle). It supports express charging capable of adding approximately 263 km of range in just 15 minutes, while a 20% to 80% battery charge can be completed in around 26 minutes under test conditions. The SUV is powered by a 75 kWh battery pack and comes with a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery for the first owner.

Performance is equally impressive, with the dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) variant producing 504 Nm of torque and accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds in Boost Mode.

Shailesh Chandra, MD & CEO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said: “The Sierra has always stood for more than just mobility. It has been an icon of innovation, aspiration and progress, bringing the future closer to customers. When reintroduced, it once again broke new ground by creating India’s premium mid-SUV segment. Today, with Sierra.ev, we are taking that legacy forward and setting a new benchmark for what an uncompromised premium SUV can be in the electric era. Combining exceptional real-world range, exhilarating performance, intelligent technology, indulgent comfort and goanywhere capability, the Sierra.ev delivers an SUV experience that is as desirable as it is transformative.

The mid-SUV segment sits at the heart of India’s SUV market, shaped by a new generation of customers who see their vehicle as a reflection of their lifestyle, ambitions and identity. As EVs move firmly into the mainstream, desirability will be the defining catalyst for adoption. The Sierra.ev is designed to lead that shift. More than our most advanced SUV yet, it is a bold expression of the future – making electric mobility more appealing, accessible and compelling than ever before, while accelerating India’s journey towards a cleaner, zero-emission future.”

      Premium Cabin with Triple Screens

Inside, the Sierra.ev features a premium digital cabin centred around Tata’s Theater Pro triple-screen infotainment system. The SUV also offers:

      • Powered seats with thigh support
      • 622-litre boot space
      • Digi Access and e-Valet parking technologies

These features are designed to transform the cabin into what Tata calls a “Luxury LifeSpace” for families and long-distance travel.

      Connected Technology and ADAS

The Sierra.ev includes several connected technologies aimed at improving convenience and safety, including:

      • Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)
      • Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V)

      • iRA.ev connected platform with over 70 connected features
      • OTA software updates
      • Level 2+ ADAS with 22 advanced driver assistance features

      Built for Every Terrain
