The Tata Power Company Limited (Tata Power), one of India’s leading integrated power companies and the country’s foremost EV charging solutions provider, joined hands with Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEM), India’s largest 4-wheeler EV manufacturer, to inaugurate Telangana’s first high-speed TATA.ev MegaCharger Hub at iLabs Centre Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad.

Strategically located at the heart of Hitech City, iLabs Centre Charging Hub, has been designed to cater to Hyderabad’s rapidly expanding community of electric vehicle users, including private vehicle owners, commercial fleets, ride-hailing services, intercity travellers and corporate commuters. With Hyderabad emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing technology and business hubs, the facility aims to address the increasing demand for reliable, accessible, and high-speed EV charging infrastructure while supporting the state’s broader sustainability ambitions.

      • Equipped with ultra-fast chargers offering speeds of up to 360 kW, with infrastructure capable of charging up to six electric vehicles simultaneously
      • Open 24×7, ensuring round-the-clock convenience and reliable charging access for private users, commercial fleets and intercity travellers
      • Marks another significant milestone in Telangana’s transition towards sustainable and future-ready mobility

Equipped with a total charging capacity of 360 kW, the MegaCharger Hub features three 120 kW dispensers, enabling up to six electric vehicles to charge simultaneously. Operating 24×7, the facility significantly reduces charging time while providing a seamless and dependable charging experience, setting a new benchmark for future-ready EV infrastructure in the region.

The Inauguration was attended by TGSPDCL CMD Mr Jitesh Patel (IAS) and Gopalakrishnan VC Director – Automotive and EV Sector Industries and Commerce Department Government of Telangana along with representatives from TATA Power and TATA Motors.

The co-branded TATA.ev MegaCharger Hub is part of the rapidly expanding TATA.ev MegaCharger network, a flagship initiative of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., with 750+ TATA.ev Mega charging points live across key corridors and cities in India. Many of these hubs are seamlessly accessible through the Tata Power EZ Charge App, which has over 5 lakh + registered users.

Today, Tata Power’s EV charging network spans more than 6,500 public charging points across 700+ cities and towns, with presence across highways, airports, workplaces, commercial destinations, residential communities and key transit corridors. In partnership with leading automotive OEMs, the company has also installed over 2.3 lakh home chargers, delivering end-to-end charging solutions and a seamless ownership experience for EV users. As it continues to expand its charging footprint across strategic locations nationwide, Tata Power remains committed to accelerating India’s clean mobility transition and supporting the nation’s long-term energy transition and net-zero ambitions.
