      Tata Motors unveils Ultra EV 7M at Prawaas 4.0 sustainable mobility expo

      At Prawaas 4.0, a three-day biannual event that highlights safe, smart, and sustainable integrated mass transportation solutions and was held at the Bengaluru BIEC, Tata Motors unveiled a variety of state-of-the-art mass mobility solutions.

      The brand-new Tata Ultra EV 7M, an intra-city electric bus with zero emissions that is built to meet the needs of urban mass transit, was unveiled by the business. The 21-seater Ultra EV 7M boasts a stated range of up to 160 km on a single charge thanks to its 213kW electric engine and 200kWh Li-ion battery, which is rated IP67. It also features fast charging technology, allowing a complete charge to occur in 2.5 hours. The manufacturer claims that the maneuverable Ultra EV 7M is made to handle metropolitan environments with heavy traffic and restricted lanes.

      The fully electric drivetrain is complemented by advanced safety features, including an electronic braking system and electronic stability control. The bus is equipped with an Automatic Passenger Counter and boasts high safety and security standards with its Intelligent Transport System (ITS). Additionally, the Ultra EV 7M incorporates regenerative braking technology, further enhancing its efficiency and range.

This all-new model is perfectly suited for both metros and smaller cities, addressing the unique demands of our customers. Our participation in Prawaas 4.0 underscores our dedication to providing innovative, efficient and sustainable mobility solutions that ensure high earning potential and profitability for our customers.”

      Tata Motors’ CV portfolio has clean and sustainable solutions across multiple powertrains and emission technologies. The company leads the market in electric buses segment, with over 2,900 e-buses deployed across India and having clocked a cumulative distance of over 16 crore kilometres. It is also advancing hydrogen fuel cell transport solutions within the country.

      With a wide range of alternate fuel powered vehicles, Tata Motors’ growth strategy is to offer lower operational costs and higher profitability for operators. Enhancing the company’s CV portfolio is Fleet Edge, a connected vehicle platform that leverages smart technologies to improve fleet management, vehicle uptime and safety.

      At Prawaas 4.0, Tata Motors has also showcased other passenger transport solutions including the Magna EV, Magic Bi-fuel, Ultra Prime CNG, Winger 9S, CityRide Prime and LPO 1822, all aimed at offering customized solutions in varied applications and duty cycles.
