Tata Motors, the leader in India’s electric passenger vehicle market with over 50% market share, is gearing up to expand its EV lineup with three new models this year. Following the launch of the Harrier EV and facelifted Punch EV, the company is preparing to debut the Tiago EV facelift, Avinya, and Sierra EV.
- Tata Tiago EV Facelift – Spy shots reveal a refreshed exterior with new LED headlamps, sharper DRLs, redesigned bumper, aero-styled wheels, and larger ORVMs hinting at a 360-degree camera. Interiors are expected to get upgraded materials, a larger infotainment touchscreen, fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and a new steering wheel. It may feature a 30 kWh battery pack with improved range.
- Tata Avinya – Set to launch in late 2026, this high-end sub-brand EV will feature a sportback design and sit on a localised version of the JLR EMA platform, marking Tata’s move into premium electric vehicles.
- Tata Sierra EV – The zero-emission Sierra will retain most ICE design cues, offer 450 km range, fast charging, and multiple battery options (55 kWh, 65 kWh, possibly 75 kWh with dual motors). It’s slated for release in Q2 2026.
