Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles has marked a major milestone in India’s sustainable logistics journey with the delivery of its advanced Prima E.55S battery-electric prime movers to Enviiiro Wheels Mobility, a leading provider of eco-friendly freight solutions in the power, mining, cement, and steel sectors. The first batch of these zero-emission heavy-duty trucks was handed over in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, representing a significant leap toward decarbonising industrial transportation in India.

      Zero-Emission Trucks for Heavy-Duty Logistics

The Prima E.55S has been engineered specifically for long-haul, heavy-duty applications, including the transportation of minerals and ores. With a fully electric drivetrain, integrated e-axle, and state-of-the-art regenerative braking, the truck offers an impressive range of up to 350 km on a single charge. Dual fast-charging ports ensure minimal downtime, enabling fleet operators to maximise operational efficiency.

      Advanced Safety and Driver Comfort

Tata Motors has equipped the Prima E.55S with driver-assistance and safety technologies such as

      • Driver Monitoring System (DMS)

      • Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

      • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

      • Cruise Control and Electronic Braking System (EBS)

      • Optional Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

The premium Prima cabin, featuring pneumatically suspended seats and tilt-telescopic steering, ensures enhanced driver comfort and productivity during long hauls.

      Strategic Deployment for Sustainable Logistics

Enviiiro Wheels Mobility will deploy the Prima E.55S trucks across sectors like power, mining, cement, and steel, reinforcing its commitment to net-zero operations and sustainable logistics solutions.

“Adding Tata Motors’ advanced electric prime movers to our fleet marks a defining step toward decarbonized operations. With zero emissions, superior performance, and advanced safety features, the Prima E.55S supports our customers’ net-zero goals while setting new standards in clean transportation,” said Praveen Somani, Managing Director, Enviiiro Wheels Mobility.

Rajesh Kaul, Vice President & Business Head – Trucks, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, added,

“We are proud to deliver the first batch of Prima E.55S electric trucks to Enviiiro Wheels. Tata Motors continues to lead India’s transition to sustainable freight with robust, environmentally friendly solutions that deliver both business and ecological value.”

Tata Motors’ Commitment to Alternative Fuel Mobility

This delivery reinforces Tata Motors’ pioneering efforts in alternative fuel technologies, including battery-electric, CNG, LNG, hydrogen internal combustion, and hydrogen fuel cell solutions. Supported by its Sampoorna Seva 2.0 network with over 3,200 service touchpoints, Tata ensures comprehensive lifecycle support and unmatched uptime for fleet operators.

The Prima E.55S delivery to Enviiiro Wheels exemplifies Tata Motors’ mission to create a cleaner, more sustainable freight ecosystem, advancing India’s journey toward zero-emission logistics while setting benchmarks for industrial EV adoption.
