Tata Motors is set to launch three electric vehicles in 2026, expanding its EV portfolio across multiple segments.
Tata Tiago.ev
The Tata Tiago.ev is Tata’s compact electric hatchback aimed at urban users. It offers battery options between 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh, a range of up to 315 km (MIDC), and fast-charging capability. The hatchback continues to target affordability while offering modern connected features and reliable performance.
Tata Sierra EV
The Tata Sierra EV is a premium electric SUV inspired by the revived Sierra nameplate. Positioned above the Tata Curvv in the lineup, it is expected to offer RWD and AWD variants, modern interiors, and long-range battery options. Deliveries are anticipated in mid-2026, with pricing likely between ₹16–25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Avinya
The Tata Avinya is the flagship EV under Tata’s new premium electric sub-brand. Featuring a futuristic design, advanced technology, and long-range battery options, it will compete in the premium EV segment. Launch is expected in late 2026, with pricing estimated between ₹22 lakh and ₹60 lakh depending on configuration.
Strategic Vision
With these launches, Tata Motors is pursuing a multi-tier EV strategy — from entry-level urban EVs (Tiago.ev) to mid-size SUVs (Sierra EV) and premium flagship vehicles (Avinya). This approach reinforces Tata’s position as a leader in India’s growing electric mobility market.
