Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. posted strong performance in February 2026, reporting total sales of 63,331 units, a 35% increase compared to 46,811 units in February 2025.
Domestic and International Performance
Domestic passenger vehicle sales rose 34% year-on-year to 62,329 units, up from 46,435 units in the same month last year. Meanwhile, international business (IB) sales recorded a sharp surge, climbing 167% to 1,002 units from 376 units a year earlier.
Electric Vehicle Growth
Electric vehicle (EV) sales, including both domestic and international markets, grew 57% to 8,385 units in February 2026, compared to 5,343 units in February 2025. The EV tally includes volumes from Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, the company’s dedicated EV arm.
Formerly known as Tata Motors Limited, the company was renamed following a composite scheme of arrangement approved by the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, effective October 13, 2025. Part of the USD 180 billion Tata Group, it offers a wide portfolio of cars and SUVs across internal combustion engine and electric powertrains, while expanding its footprint in domestic and global markets.
