TapFin and the EV Powertrain Lab at IIT Bombay have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to discuss financing issues for electric vehicles and work toward developing solutions that will increase accessibility to EV ownership.

The partnership aims to establish a research collaboration, knowledge sharing, and industry-relevant skill development ecosystem that links academics and industry. The parties will collaborate on research projects aimed at developing workable solutions for the EV industry.

While working on real-world projects, IIT Bombay students will be exposed to industry trends and problems. TapFin intends to leverage the academic expertise of IIT Bombay to improve its services for EV-related firms.

In addition, TapFin will take part in the yearly EV Career Day at IIT Bombay, giving students a glimpse into industry issues and possible career paths.

Co-founder and CEO of TapFin Aditya Singh stated, “We are excited to work with the EV Powertrain lab at IIT Bombay. With the signing of this MoU, we are demonstrating our dedication to advancing green transportation innovation. Through collaborating with the brightest minds at IIT Bombay, we hope to advance EV technology and develop solutions that will benefit society as a whole.”

It is anticipated that the partnership between TapFin and IIT Bombay will help India achieve its objectives for sustainable development and the growth of electric vehicle technology.
