The UK-based energy technology company Powerverse has teamed up with JPL EV Ltd, the company that makes Stevie EV chargers, to include its AI-powered platform in all Stevie charging stations in a calculated attempt to revolutionise home-based EV charging. The partnership seeks to transform EV chargers from a legal need into useful, profitable resources for both homeowners and home builders.
Real-time energy tracking, intelligent tariff optimisation, and smooth interoperability with solar panels and home battery systems are all benefits of combining Stevie’s stylish, wall-embedded EV chargers with Powerverse’s white-label software. More importantly, it makes it possible for customers to take part in the expanding flexibility and grid-balancing markets in the UK and directly profit from them through the Powerverse app.
“JPL’s Stevie brand is already a favourite among installers and housebuilders,” Powerverse CEO Richard Britton stated. “Every installed charger becomes a part of a smarter, greener energy system with our platform.”
This summer, the implementation is already in progress across multi-home communities and new construction projects. By positioning EV chargers as integral parts of the clean energy transition rather than merely hardware, both businesses want to improve the value proposition for EV chargers in the housing market.
“An EV charger is no longer just a mandated installation — it’s a smart energy hub with financial returns,” James Clarke, Director of JPL EV Ltd, highlighted the change in attitude that this cooperation promotes. Because of Powerverse’s demonstrated experience, we are able to provide our partners and users with considerably more than the norm.
The unique flush wall-mounted EV chargers from Stevie, which was founded in 2022, are well-liked for their emphasis on design, safety, and future energy compatibility. The chargers will now provide access to more affordable, environmentally friendly charging thanks to Powerverse’s technology stack, which will further appeal to developers and consumers that care about sustainability.
Since 2017, Powerverse, which Nick Boyle established, has led the way in intelligent energy management. Its platform offers state-of-the-art solutions for smart charging, optimisation, and flexible market access to OEMs, energy companies, and EV companies.
