One of the key milestones in Leapmotor’s commitment to shaping mobility direction will be achieved when Stellantis brings the firm’s global electric vehicle portfolio to India. Through this move, Stellantis continues to introduce Indian customers to a new era of smart, green, and widely accessible electric vehicles.

Stellantis’ ambition to drive innovation and expand its EV footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive sectors aligns with the introduction of the Leapmotor brand. Stellantis’ sustainability-focused approach aligns with Leapmotor’s low-carbon mobility strategy. Leapmotor doubled its growth over a year in 2024, shipping nearly 300,000 vehicles.

“We are excited to announce the launch of the Leapmotor brand in India, which will further cement our commitment to the market. We already have a strong presence in India through our Jeep and Citroen brands, and we are fully aware of the massive potential and strategic importance of the market. With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, Leapmotor is transforming electric mobility at a global level. We are eager to bring premium EVs—cars that redefine the modern driving experience with state-of-the-art comfort, sustainability, and technology—to India’s fast-growing consumer base “said Stellantis India’s Managing Director and CEO, Shailesh Hazela.

In the Indian market, we expect the Stellantis to introduce a subcompact electric hatchback. For that purpose, the Leapmotor T03 hatchback is the perfect option.
