      Stella Moto Plans Retail Expansion in India

      Fastest growing start-ups in the micro-mobility space, Stella Moto has planned to expand its retail footprint in India to capitalize on the electric scooter boom.

      The company will focus on scaling up operations within Tier-1 cities like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi while aggressively expanding their presence in micro-Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.

      The company targets the expansion of its dealership network reach. The brand also plans to target sub-dealers apart from the primary dealers while expanding its footprints. To attract dealers, Stella Moto has simplified the application process and taken the entire procedure online.

      Simultaneously, it has also launched its partner program, that will provide training, certifications and marketing to its business partners, helping them set up a successful electric scooter business. To support this further, Stella is also assuring adequate dealership margins to ensure viability for its dealer network.

      Commenting on the rapid expansion & growth, Nakul Jaidka –CEO & Founder Stella Moto said, “Stella Moto’s network presence is strategically expanding, which is a testimony to the encouraging response received from our customers and dealer partners. Today, Stella, in a very short period, has already established intensive sales & post-sales network, which has built a strong sense of confidence among its customers across the country. An increasing network presence will help us address demand across segments and strengthen customers’ trust in our brand.”

      Stella Moto has recently announced its RTO-approved electric Scooter Buzz.

      The Company shall further launch its delivery two-wheeler model shortly in the coming months, targeted to redefine the delivery space.

      The Group company, Jaidka, a long-standing pioneer in the automobile business for over 80 years, has two manufacturing units at Howrah, West Bengal and Hosur, Tamil Nadu, with manufacturing capabilities of 20,000 vehicles per annum.

      It aims to expand its Manufacturing set-up further to 100,000 units. The Company plans to achieve 100% localization by 2024.
