The country’s leading electric vehicle (EV) charging network, announced the launch of its new 3.3 kW Portable EV Charger with IC‑CPD, empowering users nationwide to conquer everyday and on-the-go charging with simplicity, safety, and convenience. Perfectly portable with a compact design, standard 3-pin 16A plug, RCD Type-B protection, and IP66 weatherproofing, it seamlessly bridges home reliability and travel freedom.

India’s EV sales hit over 2 million units in FY25, yet home charging access lags at just 55%, making this new portable EV charger a game-changer for everyday users. Rated at 3.3 kW AC output, the portable EV charger supports adjustable current settings between 6A and 16A, enabling users to optimize charging based on socket capacity and grid load. The integrated LED display shows real‑time charging data, including voltage, current, and power consumption, while a 12‑hour timer feature allows users to schedule charging during off‑peak hours for better energy efficiency. The robust IC‑CPD control box is engineered to withstand 1‑meter drops and up to 2‑ton run‑over pressure, ensuring reliability even in demanding conditions.

Speaking on the launch, Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO, Statiq, said, “Most EV owners in India still worry about two things: where they will charge and whether their home sockets can handle it safely. Our new portable EV charger with IC‑CPD has been designed to solve both of these concerns in one product. With a simple 3‑pin plug, adjustable power, and built‑in safety like RCD Type‑B and IP66 protection, EV users can confidently charge at home, at a relative’s place, or at a holiday stay without complicated installation. This launch is a natural extension of our mission to make EV charging truly accessible, from public fast chargers on highways to smart, compact solutions that fit into everyday life.”

Raghav Arora, Co‑Founder & CTO, Statiq, added, “From an engineering perspective, we wanted to build a portable charger that is as smart and robust as a wall‑mounted unit, but far more flexible. The IC‑CPD architecture, 2‑ton run‑over protection, and over‑temperature safeguards ensure that safety is never compromised, while the LED display and timer give users real control over their charging. Whether it is used as a primary home charger or as a dependable backup during travel, this device is tuned for Indian conditions, variable power quality, mixed socket types, and both indoor and outdoor use. It is a small form factor product but a big step towards eliminating range and charging anxiety for EV users.”

The charger comes with a 2‑year warranty and is rated IP66 for dust and water protection, making it suitable for balconies, parking lots, and outdoor driveways. Its user‑friendly push‑button controls allow quick setup, while over‑temperature and leakage‑current protections further strengthen the safety envelope for both the EV and the home electrical system. With its standard 3‑pin domestic plug, the charger can be used as a primary home charger or a reliable travel companion, giving users freedom to charge from most compatible sockets.

The Statiq Portable EV Charger with IC‑CPD is now available at an introductory price of ₹14,999 (MRP ₹28,999; 48% savings) with free standard delivery across India. Listed under Statiq’s AC home charging portfolio, the product can be purchased online via Statiq’s official channels under the 3.3 kW Portable EV Charger category, along with Amazon.

Statiq recently received a fresh capital infusion of approximately $18 million. The funding round, blending equity and debt, was led by Tenacity Ventures, with key participation from Y Combinator, Shell Ventures, and RCD Holdings. This raise comes amid a pivotal moment for India’s EV ecosystem, emerging from a tough “capital winter” that challenged many infrastructure players. Statiq’s success stands as a strong “conviction signal,” shifting the focus from hype to execution‑driven growth and cementing its role as a resilient leader in clean tech.

Moreover, Statiq entered into tie‑ups with government bodies, automakers, and major hospitality players, now covering over 100 cities with more than 10,000 chargers, both AC and DC. Looking ahead, Statiq plans to install 20,000 charging points across the country by the end of 2026, catering to the growing demand for daily charging services for electric vehicles.
