EV charging startup Statiq has launched a 3.3 kW portable electric vehicle charger with IC-CPD, designed to improve convenience and safety for EV users across India.
The compact charger is intended for home and on-the-go use, allowing users to charge vehicles without requiring dedicated charging infrastructure. It comes with a standard 3-pin 16A plug, enabling compatibility with regular household sockets.
According to the Statiq , the device supports adjustable current settings from 6A to 16A, helping users manage power consumption based on their electrical setup. It also features an LED display that shows real-time data on voltage, current, and energy usage, along with a 12-hour timer for scheduled charging.
The charger is built with multiple safety features, including RCD Type-B protection, IP66-rated dust and water resistance, and safeguards against overheating and leakage current.
The launch aims to address India’s growing need for accessible EV charging solutions, as electric vehicle adoption rises faster than public and home charging infrastructure.
