Statiq is pleased to announce its collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), one of the top oil marketing firms in India, marking a significant milestone in the development of a strong EV charging ecosystem in that nation. As part of this strategic partnership, Statiq will use its flagship EVLinq platform to onboard HPCL’s whole charging network, both current and planned, onto the Statiq mobile app.
One of India’s biggest and most easily accessible EV charging networks is further strengthened by this integration, which brings more than 5,100 chargers from HPCL’s network—including 2,900 DC fast chargers—to Statiq’s platform. With more than 23,000 gas stations across the country and ambitious ambitions for growth under the Ministry of Heavy Industries’ (MHI) PM eDrive program, HPCL is well-positioned to significantly impact India’s EV transition.
EV users will be able to find, navigate, and charge at HPCL stations with ease thanks to Statiq’s EVLinq technology, which will power the smooth aggregation and real-time visibility of HPCL chargers. The platform guarantees interoperability with various EV charging protocols, universal access, and strong backend monitoring.
EVLinq solidifies its position as India’s top aggregation and interoperability platform for EV charging with the onboarding of HPCL’s EV charging network. EVLinq is becoming the preferred backend engine for both CPOs and eMSPs due to its ability to provide the smooth integration of charging infrastructure from major OMCs, hence facilitating visibility, access, and utilisation throughout the EV charging ecosystem. This partnership furthers EVLinq’s objective of integrating India’s disparate EV market into a unified, intelligent network, which will speed up adoption and promote growth.
Statiq co-founder and CTO Mr. Raghav Arora echoed this view when he stated, “We are excited to welcome HPCL’s extensive charging network onto the Statiq platform.” This collaboration strengthens our goal of making EV charging easy and accessible for all Indian EV owners while also expanding our network. Such countrywide linkages are made possible by EVLinq, and we are enthusiastic about what this portends for EV transportation in India going forward.
With this advancement, Statiq’s platform gains even more functionality and dependability, providing consumers with a more robust nationwide network of public chargers and solidifying its standing as India’s top EV charging platform.
