For mid-mile and first-mile delivery solutions, Bluwheelz, a significant participant in last-mile delivery, and Statiq have forged a strategic relationship.

Bluwheelz and Statiq will work together to create vital intercity routes and cutting-edge models, such solar-powered electric vehicles (EVs), improve network discoverability, and set up extensive charging infrastructure at important client locations.

The Indian last-mile delivery sector is on track to hit USD 6-7 billion by 2024, growing at a CAGR of 15.62% from 2022 to 2027. According to a report by BCG Consulting, by FY 2025, 25% of EV sales in India will be driven by the electrification of last-mile delivery fleets. Statiq and Bluwheelz will collaborate to develop critical intercity routes and innovative models, such as solar-powered EVs, enhancing network discoverability and establishing comprehensive charging infrastructure at key customer sites.

Akshit Bansal, Founder and CEO, Statiq, remarked, “Our collaboration with Bluwheelz is a perfect fit with our goal of advancing India’s transportation sector. Together, we will create strategic intercity routes and pioneering charging solutions, accelerating the adoption of EVs in last-mile delivery and setting new benchmarks for sustainability and efficiency.”

Chanpreet Sethi, CEO, Bluwheelz, added, “Partnering with Statiq not only aligns with our sustainability goals but also enhances our operational competence. By integrating Statiq’s extensive EV charging infrastructure, we can ensure that our fleet remains charged and ready to meet the demands of our customers, while significantly reducing our carbon footprint.”
