Simple Energy has been spotted testing its upcoming electric scooter, reportedly called the Arrive, marking the company’s move into the family‑friendly commuter EV segment. Unlike the sporty designs of earlier models, the Arrive focuses on practicality and everyday usability.
Design and Features
The scooter appears to feature a conventional design, twin rear shock absorbers, a pillion footrest, and both a main and centre stand. Observers also noted storage space behind the front apron, emphasizing convenience for daily riders.
Hardware and Performance
The Arrive is expected to include a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, while retaining wheel sizes similar to the Simple One series. Notably, it may use a mid-mounted motor with belt/chain drive, which could offer better balance and ride comfort compared to hub motors.
Battery and Range
Battery specifications are not confirmed yet, but early estimates suggest a ~3.7 kWh pack, similar to the Simple One S, with a potential range of 180–200 km per charge.
Technology and Connectivity
Simple Energy appears to be keeping the Arrive practical rather than overly tech-focused. Expected features include a touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, and basic smart features for day-to-day convenience.
Launch Timeline and Rivals
The scooter is expected to launch in April or May 2026, competing with TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, and Hero Vida in the commuter EV segment.
With the Arrive, Simple Energy is signaling a shift toward comfort and practicality, broadening its appeal beyond performance-focused EV enthusiasts.
